Program Eligibility
Ages
All students 13 to 17 years of age by the day the program starts are eligible to participate.
English Language Proficiency & Program Preparedness
All applicants must demonstrate that they can communicate and understand English at a high-beginner level and are a good fit for the program. This requirement ensures that all participants can fully engage in the program and gain meaningful skills from the experience. To verify this, applicants will complete a brief virtual interview (about five minutes) with a Bridges staff member.
Locations
Outside the United States
Anyone from any country is welcome to apply. All participants are responsible for ensuring they apply for and receive the correct U.S. entry documentation, but program staff is available to assist with the process and will provide support through arrival and departure.
Inside the United States
Anyone permanently residing in the United States may apply. Participants will still need to complete the English Assessment component of the application and will have access to the same support from program staff before, during, and after the program as their international counterparts.
