Program Eligibility

Ages

All students 13 to 17 years of age by the day the program starts are eligible to participate.

English Language Proficiency

All applicants will be required to verify that they can communicate and understand English at least at a high-beginner level. This is to ensure that all participants will be able to fully participate in the program. English language proficiency is determined through a short Zoom conversation with a Bridges staff member.

Locations

Outside the United States

Anyone from any country is welcome to apply. All participants are responsible for ensuring they apply for and receive the correct U.S. entry documentation, but program staff is available to assist with the process and will provide support through arrival and departure.

Inside the United States

Anyone permanently residing in the United States may apply. Participants will still need to complete the English Assessment component of the application and will have access to the same support from program staff before, during, and after the program as their international counterparts.
