Program Preparedness Interview

Why do we assess applicants' program preparedness?

The Bridges program is designed to benefit all participants who can use basic English. Participants should be able to understand and respond to simple questions and instructions, and they should be willing to participate actively, engage with others, and fully immerse themselves in the program.

The Bridges Program Assessment

The assessment is one short virtual meeting with a program staff member. The staff member will ask a few basic questions and for a few easy tasks to be completed, and applicants will be assessed based on their responses. The assessment should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.

We are not looking for a particularly assigned "level," but participants should have the ability to communicate in English at a basic level.

No, you only need to be able to answer questions and have a reason you would like to join the program!

No.  This is not an official assessment of any kind.  It is only used to determine eligibility for this program and does not apply to other programs or college entry.

Of course!
