Steps for Attending the Bridges Program


Each of these steps after Step 1 will have a detailed email associated with it that will contain information that applies specifically for your participant.

Applying for the program is the first step. You will need to provide information on the applicant and their emergency contact information.

After you have been accepted to the program, you will need to confirm your spot and pay a deposit. The deposit is a portion of the full program fee and will help program staff plan properly for your attendance and help with travel documentation for our international participants. The confirmation link and detailed payment instructions can be found in the "Confirm Your Spot for the Bridges Program" email.

International participants and domestic students will have some preparation to do to arrive at KU.

Once travel plans have been made (and purchased), the International Short Programs staff will need to know the time the participant will arrive at MCI (for international students) or at KU (domestic students).

Once the participant has confirmed arrival plans, the remaining balance of the program fee should be paid. Detailed instructions for paying the remaining balance will be sent via email.

Stay in communication with program staff regarding any changes to arrival plans, withdrawing from the program, or anything else that comes up before, during, and even after the program!
